The present invention relates to a method and device for horizontal, static equilibrium balancing of a rotating body with center holes. The invention is characterized in that a rod (5) supported by a support with an upper seat (4) of an elastic resilient material is adjusted vertically, that rotating body wood is over and fixed centrally on a sleeve-shaped centering device (1) by means of release guides (2) for different diameters of said center hole, wherein a central inner pin (A) of the centering member (1) creates a balance joint (3) with the upper seat (4) of the rod (5) when the centering member (1) is threaded over the rod (5) and commutate against said seat (4), wherein the centering member (1) with rotating body and rod (5), which are mutually angularly adjustable without occurring friction, is statically balanced in the horizontal plane by placing weights on the periphery of the rotating body before reaching a horizontal equilibrium position. The i fi g. 1 has a bottom plate 9 with adjusting screws 8 for adjusting the vertical supporting rod 5 to a vertical position. This adjustment is made by using the centering device 1 (without applied rotating body) which is threaded over the rod 5 to the interaction point (fi g. 3) between the supporting rod 5 and the centering device 1, the upper seat 4 being made of a material which is elastically resilient, preferably a silicone material . The point of interaction between this upper seat and a central downwardly directed pin on the centering device 1 is called the balance joint and allows a slight inclination in all directions between centering device 1 with applied rotating body and the vertical rod 5, which can then give a rash on the dragonfly 6.
But first the vertical bar 5 must be set vertically and this is done by locking the centering device centrally at the vertical bar 5. A slidable sleeve 7 on the vertical rod 5 is used to effect this locking between rod 5 and centering device 1. The sleeve 7 has an outer diameter which corresponds to the inner diameter of the centering device I. Then the spirit level 6 is used at the upper end of the centering device to adjust the bottom plate by means of the adjusting screws 8. When this has been done, the centering device 1 is removed and the loose guides 2a and 2b are used to guide and lock the rotating body to be balanced. The guides 2 are loose in such a motto that they can move the rotating body in a position so that its center of gravity will be below the balance joint when the centering device and rotating body are in place. The controls 2 then have several ledges with different diameters to fit into different size bearing openings of the rotating bodies which are subjected to a balancing.
The upper seat 4 at the rod 5 can be partially peripherally open to allow an expansion of the material when exerted stress from centering device 1 with applied rotating body.
The various details of the device can preferably be loose and assembled only when a balancing is to take place. As a result, they can be stored easily without the need for space and can therefore be stored easily and taken with you in the luggage even for a motorcycle.
The invention is not limited to the embodiment shown above, but modifications may be made within the scope of the following claims.

Claims (7)

1. A method for horizontal, static equilibrium balancing of a rotating body with center holes, characterized in that a rod (5) supported by a support with an upper seat (4) of or covering an elastic resilient material is adjusted vertically, that the rotating body is threaded over and fi xcentrically on a sleeve-shaped centering device (1) by means of loose controls (2a, 2b) for different diameters of said center holes, a central inner pin (A) of the centering device (1) creating a balance joint (3) with the upper seat (4) of the rod (5) when the centering member (1) is stepped over the rod (5) and come into abutment against said seat (4), the centering member (1) having a rotating body and rod (5), which is mutually angularly adjustable without occurring friction, are statically balanced in the horizontal plane by placing weights on the periphery of the rotating body to achieve a horizontal equilibrium position.

Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the loose controls (2) are adjustable and fixable vertically on the centering device (1) so that the center of gravity of the rotating body will be below the balance joint (3) between the centering device (1) and the vertical bar (5).

Method according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the incidental inclination of the rotating body caused by static oblong gives rise to a spirit level (6) at the upper end of the centering device (1), the reading of a reading on this spirit level being used to achieve a static balancing by applying weights to the periphery of the rotating body.

Device for horizontal, static equilibrium balancing of a rotating body with center hole and for carrying out the method according to claim 1, characterized by a vertically adjustable rod (5) with an upper seat (4) of an elastic resilient material, a sleeve-shaped centering device ( 1) with a pin (A) which together with said upper seat creates a balance joint (3), loose controls (2) for different diameters of center holes at rotating bodies, which controls (2) are arranged adjustable and axially vertical on the centering device ( 1) in such a way that the center of gravity of the rotating body will be below the balance joint (3).

Device according to Claim 4, characterized by a holder device (7) displaceable on the rod with an outer diameter corresponding to the inner diameter of the centering device.
